Patrick Geary Named To The USA Hockey National World Junior Team Preliminary Roster

Former Buffalo Jr. Sabres defenseman Patrick Geary has been selected to Team USA's preliminary roster for its final selection camp, which will begin on December 14 in Plymouth, Michigan, before the team leaves for Sweden. The camp will include 16 forwards, 10 defenseman and 3 goaltenders. Team USA can bring 22 skaters and 3 goaltenders, but will only be able to roster 20 skaters and 3 goalies at the actual tournament. All players will be competing to earn a spot on the USA Hockey roster for the World Junior Championship that will begin on December 26 in Gothenburg, Sweden.
